Gene Infomation:HAUS8 is 1 of 8 subunits of the 390-kD human augmincomplex, or HAUS complex. The augmin complex was first identifiedin Drosophila, and its name comes from the Latin verb 'augmentare,'meaning 'to increase.' The augmin complex is a microtubule-bindingcomplex involved in microtubule generation within the mitoticspindle and is vital to mitotic spindle assembly (Goshima et al.,2008 [PubMed 18443220]; Uehara et al., 2009 [PubMed19369198]).

Antigen:This HAUS8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 28-54 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HAUS8.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
