Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is known to associatewith hematopoietic cell-specific Lyn substrate 1, a substrate ofSrc family tyrosine kinases. It also interacts with the product ofthe polycystic kidney disease 2 gene, mutations in which areassociated with autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease, andwith the F-actin-binding protein, cortactin. It was earlier thoughtthat this gene product is mainly localized in the mitochondria, however, recent studies indicate it to be localized in the cellbody. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal recessive severecongenital neutropenia, also known as Kostmann disease. Twotranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been found forthis gene.
Antigen:This HAX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 161-190 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human HAX1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
