Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Hepatocyte growth factor regulates cell growth, cellmotility, and morphogenesis by activating a tyrosine kinasesignaling cascade after binding to the proto-oncogenic c-Metreceptor. Hepatocyte growth factor is secreted by mesenchymal cellsand acts as a multi-functional cytokine on cells of mainlyepithelial origin. Its ability to stimulate mitogenesis, cellmotility, and matrix invasion gives it a central role inangiogenesis, tumorogenesis, and tissue regeneration. It issecreted as a single inactive polypeptide and is cleaved by serineproteases into a 69-kDa alpha-chain and 34-kDa beta-chain. Adisulfide bond between the alpha and beta chains produces theactive, heterodimeric molecule. The protein belongs to theplasminogen subfamily of S1 peptidases but has no detectableprotease activity. Alternative splicing of this gene producesmultiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [providedby RefSeq].

Buffer condition:Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
