Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Structural component of the T=16 icosahedral capsid. The capsid is composed of pentamers and hexamers of VP5, which are linked together by heterotrimers called triplex. These triplex are formed by a single molecule of VP19C and two copies of VP23 which bridge major capsid protein VP5 multimers together. Triplexes occupy the local threeflod positions between capsid hexamers and pentamers (By similarity).
Antigen:This HHV14 UL38 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 387-414 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human HHV14 UL38.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
