Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitouslyexpressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). ThehnRNPs are produced by RNA polymerase II and are components of theheterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) complexes. They are associatedwith pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNAprocessing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem toshuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteinshave distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encodedby this gene, which binds to one of the components of themultiprotein editosome complex, has two repeats of quasi-RRM (RNArecognition motif) domains that bind to RNAs.

Antigen:This HNRPAB antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HNRPAB.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
