Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a major structuralprotein of the bone matrix. It constitutes approximately 12% of thenoncollagenous proteins in human bone and is synthesized byskeletal-associated cell types, including hypertrophicchondrocytes, osteoblasts, osteocytes, and osteoclasts. The onlyextraskeletal site of its synthesis is the trophoblast. Thisprotein binds to calcium and hydroxyapatite via its acidic aminoacid clusters, and mediates cell attachment through an RGD sequencethat recognizes the vitronectin receptor.

Antigen:This IBSP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 70-99 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human IBSP.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
