Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the insulin family ofpolypeptide growth factors, which are involved in development andgrowth. It is an imprinted gene, expressed only from the paternalallele, and epigenetic changes at this locus are associated withWilms tumour, Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, rhabdomyosarcoma, andSilver-Russell syndrome. A read-through INS-IGF2 gene exists, whose5' region overlaps the INS gene and the 3' region overlaps thisgene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding differentisoforms have been found for this gene.

Antigen:This IGF2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 39-68 amino acids from the Central region of human IGF2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
