Background:IGFBP2: insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2. IGFBP2 is a member of the ISGBP family which bind various IGFs. IGFBP2 is overexpressed in a wide spectrum of other cancers, including glioma, prostate cancer, synovial sarcoma, neuroblastoma, colon cancer, adrenocortical cancer, lung cancer, Wilms' tumor, and hepatoblastoma. The overexpression of IGFBP2 also correlates with the aggressiveness of some tumors. IGFBP2 activates the expression of matrix metalloprotease 2, which contributes to cell invasiveness.

Western Blot: 

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
