Background:Interleukine 6 (IL-6) is a cytokine produced primarily by stimulated monocytes, fibroblasts and epithelial cells. It has a wide variety of biological functions through activating a cellsurface signaling assembly composed of IL6, IL6RA, and the shared signaling receptor gp130. The cytokine plays an essential role in the final differentiation of b-cells into Igsecreting cells, and induces myeloma, plasmacytoma growth, nerve cells differentiations. In addition, IL-6 is an important regulator of acute phase reaction.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
