Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a cytokine receptor that specificallybinds interleukin 15 (IL15) with high affinity. The receptors ofIL15 and IL2 share two subunits, IL2R beta and IL2R gamma. Thisforms the basis of many overlapping biological activities of IL15and IL2. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally relatedto IL2R alpha, an additional IL2-specific alpha subunit necessaryfor high affinity IL2 binding. Unlike IL2RA, IL15RA is capable ofbinding IL15 with high affinity independent of other subunits, which suggests distinct roles between IL15 and IL2. This receptoris reported to enhance cell proliferation and expression ofapoptosis inhibitor BCL2L1/BCL2-XL and BCL2. Multiple alternativelyspliced transcript variants of this gene have been reported.
Antigen:This IL15RA antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 79-106 amino acids from the Central region of human IL15RA.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
