Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Voltage-gated potassium channels form the largest and mostdiversified class of ion channels and are present in both excitableand nonexcitable cells. Their main functions are associated withthe regulation of the resting membrane potential and the control ofthe shape and frequency of action potentials. The alpha subunitsare of 2 types: those that are functional by themselves and thosethat are electrically silent but capable of modulating the activityof specific functional alpha subunits. The protein encoded by thisgene is not functional by itself but can form heteromultimers withmember 1 and with member 2 (and possibly other members) of theShab-related subfamily of potassium voltage-gated channel proteins. This gene belongs to the S subfamily of the potassium channelfamily.
Antigen:This KCNS3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human KCNS3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
