Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Natural killer (NK) cells are lymphocytes that can mediatelysis of certain tumor cells and virus-infected cells withoutprevious activation. They can also regulate specific humoral andcell-mediated immunity. The protein encoded by this gene belongs tothe killer cell lectin-like receptor family, also called NKG2family, which is a group of transmembrane proteins preferentiallyexpressed in NK cells. This family of proteins is characterized bythe type II membrane orientation and the presence of a C-typelectin domain. This protein forms a complex with another familymember, KLRD1/CD94, and has been implicated in the recognition ofthe MHC class I HLA-E molecules in NK cells. The genes of NKG2family members form a killer cell lectin-like receptor gene clusteron chromosome 12. Four alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding two distinct isoforms have been observed. [provided byRefSeq].
Antigen:This KLRC1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human KLRC1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
