Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversionof L-lactate and NAD to pyruvate and NADH in the final step ofanaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in muscletissue and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutationsin this gene have been linked to exertional myoglobinuria. Multipletranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been found forthis gene. The human genome contains several non-transcribedpseudogenes of this gene.
Antigen:This LDHA antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 204-232 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human LDHA.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
