Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the DNA ligase family. Eachmember of this family encodes a protein that catalyzes the joiningof DNA ends but they each have a distinct role in DNA metabolism. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in excision repair andis located in both the mitochondria and nucleus, with translationinitiation from the upstream start codon allowing for transport tothe mitochondria and translation initiation from a downstream startcodon allowing for transport to the nucleus. Additionally, alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding differentisoforms, have been characterized.

Antigen:This LIG3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 793-822 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human LIG3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
