Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes the soluble mannose-binding lectin ormannose-binding protein found in serum. The protein encoded belongsto the collectin family and is an important element in the innateimmune system. The protein recognizes mannose andN-acetylglucosamine on many microorganisms, and is capable ofactivating the classical complement pathway. Deficiencies of thisgene have been associated with susceptibility to autoimmune andinfectious diseases.

Antigen:This MBL2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 173-202 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human MBL2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
