Gene Infomation:The MAPEG (Membrane Associated Proteins in Eicosanoid and Glutathione metabolism) family consists of six human proteins, several of which are involved in the production of leukotrienes and prostaglandin E, important mediators of inflammation. MGST2 is a protein which catalyzes the conjugation of leukotriene A4 and reduced glutathione to produce leukotriene C4.

Antigen:This MGST2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 117-147 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human MGST2.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
