Background:

Molar Function:Expression of thexa0midnolinxa0gene is developmentally regulated: it is strongly expressed at the mesencephalon (midbrain) of the embryo in day 12.5 (E12.5) mice. Thexa0midnolinxa0encodes a protein of 508 amino acids (aa), which contains a Ubiquitin-like domain. The intracellular distribution of thexa0midnolinxa0was studied by usingxa0midnolin-green fluorescent protein (GFP) fusion proteins.xa0Midnolinxa0was found to be localized in the nucleus and nucleolus, but not in the cytoplasm. The nucleolar localization signal was determined to be a 28aa peptide located at the C-terminal region of thexa0midnolin.xa0May be involved in regulation of genes related to neurogenesis in the nucleolus

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
