Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family areinvolved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix for both normalphysiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction and tissue remodeling, and disease processes, such asasthma and metastasis. This gene encodes a secreted enzyme thatdegrades casein. Its expression pattern suggests that it plays arole in tissue homeostasis and in wound repair. Transcript variantsencoding different isoforms have been described. [provided byRefSeq].

Antigen:This MMP28 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 195-223 amino acids from the Central region of human MMP28.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
