Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:MOGT2 catalyzes the formation of diacylglycerol from 2-monoacylglycerol and fatty acyl-CoA. It exhibits a preference toward monoacylglycerols containing unsaturated fatty acids in the order of C18:3 > C18:2 > C18:1 > C18:0. This protein plays a central role in absorption of dietary fat in the small intestine by catalyzing the resynthesis of triacylglycerol in enterocytes. MOGT2 may play a role in diet-induced obesity.

Antigen:This Mouse MOGT2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 278-312 amino acids from the C-terminal region of mouse MOGT2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
