Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the muscle segment homeoboxgene family. The encoded protein functions as a transcriptionalrepressor during embryogenesis through interactions with componentsof the core transcription complex and other homeoproteins. It mayalso have roles in limb-pattern formation, craniofacialdevelopment, particularly odontogenesis, and tumor growthinhibition. Mutations in this gene, which was once known ashomeobox 7, have been associated with nonsyndromic cleft lip withor without cleft palate 5, Witkop syndrome, Wolf-Hirschom syndrome, and autosomoal dominant hypodontia.

Antigen:This MSX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 111-138 amino acids from the Central region of human MSX1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
