Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a protein initially identified as athyroid-specific transcription factor. The encoded protein binds tothyroglobulin promoter and regulates the expression ofthyroid-specific genes but has also been shown to regulate theexpression of genes involved in morphogenesis. Mutations anddeletions in this gene are associated with benign hereditarychorea, choreoathetosis, congenital hypothyroidism, and neonatalrespiratory distress, and may be associated with thyroid cancer.Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have beenfound for this gene.

Antigen:This NKX2-1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human NKX2-1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
