Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the CATERPILLER family ofcytoplasmic proteins. The encoded protein, which contains anN-terminal pyrin domain, a NACHT domain, a NACHT-associated domain,and a C-terminus leucine-rich repeat region, functions as anattenuating factor of inflammation by suppressing inflammatoryresponses in activated monocytes. Alternatively spliced transcriptvariants encoding distinct isoforms have been described but thefull-length nature of some of these has not been determined.

Antigen:This NLRP12 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 183-212 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human NLRP12.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
