Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene (NME1) was identified because of its reducedmRNA transcript levels in highly metastatic cells. Nucleosidediphosphate kinase (NDK) exists as a hexamer composed of 'A'(encoded by this gene) and 'B' (encoded by NME2) isoforms.Mutations in this gene have been identified in aggressiveneuroblastomas. Two transcript variants encoding different isoformshave been found for this gene. Co-transcription of this gene andthe neighboring downstream gene (NME2) generatesnaturally-occurring transcripts (NME1-NME2), which encodes a fusionprotein comprised of sequence sharing identity with each individualgene product.

Antigen:This NME1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 29-57 amino acids from the Central region of human NME1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
