Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The nuclear pore complex is a massive structure thatextends across the nuclear envelope, forming a gateway thatregulates the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and thecytoplasm. Nucleoporins are the main components of the nuclear porecomplex in eukaryotic cells. The protein encoded by this gene is amember of the FG-repeat containing nucleoporins that functions as asoluble cofactor in importin-alpha:beta-mediated nuclear proteinimport. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 5, 6, and14. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have beenfound for this gene.

Antigen:This NUP50 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 224-252 amino acids from the Central region of human NUP50.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
