Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The product of this gene belongs to the family ofpurinoceptors for ATP. This receptor functions as a ligand-gatedion channel with relatively high calcium permeability. Binding toATP mediates synaptic transmission between neurons and from neuronsto smooth muscle, being responsible, for example, for sympatheticvasoconstriction in small arteries, arterioles and vas deferens.Mouse studies suggest that this receptor is essential for normalmale reproductive function. It is possible that the development ofselective antagonists for this receptor may provide an effectivenon-hormonal male contraceptive pill.

Antigen:This P2RX1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 345-372 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human P2RX1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
