Isotype:Rabbit IgG

Host:Rabbit

Application:WB

Purify method:Affinity purified

Species:Human,Mouse

Gene Name:PACSIN2

Synonyms:SDPII

Gene Synonyms:

Gene Full Name:protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons 2

Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons family. The encoded protein is involved in linking the actin cytoskeleton with vesicle formation by regulating tubulin polymerization. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]

Antigen:Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 240-410 of human PACSIN2 (NP_009160.2).

Antigen Synonyms:Protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons protein 2

Background:

Molar Function:Lipid-binding protein that is able to promote the tubulation of the phosphatidic acid-containing membranes it preferentially binds. Plays a role in intracellular vesicle-mediated transport. Involved in the endocytosis of cell-surface receptors like the EGF receptor, contributing to its internalization in the absence of EGF stimulus. May also play a role in the formation of caveolae at the cell membrane. Recruits DNM2 to caveolae, and thereby plays a role in caveola-mediated endocytosis.

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
