Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a bifunctional enzyme containingphosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase activity in its N-terminalregion and phosphoribosylaminoimidazole succinocarboxamidesynthetase in its C-terminal region. It catalyzes steps 6 and 7 ofpurine biosynthesis. The gene is closely linked and divergentlytranscribed with a locus that encodes an enzyme in the samepathway, and transcription of the two genes is coordinatelyregulated. The human genome contains several pseudogenes of thisgene. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms havebeen found for this gene.

Antigen:This PAICS antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 95-123 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human PAICS.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
