Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the p21-activated kinase(PAK) family. The proteins of this family are Rac/Cdc42-associatedSte20-like Ser/Thr protein kinases, characterized by a highlyconserved amino-terminal Cdc42/Rac interactive binding (CRIB)domain and a carboxyl-terminal kinase domain. PAK kinases areimplicated in the regulation of a number of cellular processes, including cytoskeleton rearrangement, apoptosis and the MAP kinasesignaling pathway. The protein encoded by this gene was found tointeract with androgen receptor (AR), which is a steroidhormone-dependent transcription factor that is important for malesexual differentiation and development. This gene was found to behighly expressed in testis and prostate tissues and the encodedprotein was shown to cotranslocate into the nucleus with AR inresponse to androgen. Alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [providedby RefSeq].
Antigen:This PAK6 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 268-297 amino acids from the Central region of human PAK6.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
