Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes paired box gene 6, one of many humanhomologs of the Drosophila melanogaster gene prd. In addition tothe hallmark feature of this gene family, a conserved paired boxdomain, the encoded protein also contains a homeo box domain. Bothdomains are known to bind DNA, and function as regulators of genetranscription. This gene is expressed in the developing nervoussystem, and in developing eyes. Mutations in this gene are known tocause ocular disorders such as aniridia and Peter's anomaly.Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding either the sameor different isoform have been found for this gene. [provided byRefSeq].
Antigen:This PAX6 Monoclonal antibody was raised using purified His-tagged recombinant human PAX6.

Buffer condition:Mouse monoclonal antibody supplied in crude ascites with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
