Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a protein thought to participate inprogrammed cell death. Studies using mouse cells have shown thatoverexpression of this protein can block apoptosis. In addition, the product of this gene binds to the product of the PDCD6 gene, aprotein required for apoptosis, in a calcium-dependent manner. Thisgene product also binds to endophilins, proteins that regulatemembrane shape during endocytosis. Overexpression of this geneproduct and endophilins results in cytoplasmic vacuolization, whichmay be partly responsible for the protection against cell death.Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided byRefSeq].
Antigen:This PDCD6IP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 541-570 amino acids from the Central region of human PDCD6IP.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
