Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a cyclic nucleotidephosphodiesterase (PDE) that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the secondmessenger cAMP. The encoded protein, which does not hydrolyze cGMP,is resistant to several PDE inhibitors. Defects in this gene are acause of autosomal dominant striatal degeneration (ADSD). Severaltranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been found forthis gene.
Antigen:This PDE8B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 296-324 amino acids from the Central region of human PDE8B.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
