Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptorfor members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. Thesegrowth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. Theidentity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomerdetermines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or aheterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factorreceptor alpha and beta polypeptides. This gene is flanked onchromosome 5 by the genes for granulocyte-macrophagecolony-stimulating factor and macrophage-colony stimulating factorreceptor; all three genes may be implicated in the 5-q syndrome. Atranslocation between chromosomes 5 and 12, that fuses this gene tothat of the translocation, ETV6, leukemia gene, results in chronicmyeloproliferative disorder with eosinophilia. Buffer condition:Mouse monoclonal antibody supplied in crude ascites with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
