Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is similar tooxidoreductases, which are enzymes involved in cellular responsesto oxidative stresses and irradiation. This gene is induced by thetumor suppressor p53 and is thought to be involved in p53-mediatedcell death. It contains a p53 consensus binding site in itspromoter region and a downstream pentanucleotide microsatellitesequence. P53 has been shown to transcriptionally activate thisgene by interacting with the downstream pentanucleotidemicrosatellite sequence. The microsatellite is polymorphic, with avarying number of pentanucleotide repeats directly correlated withthe extent of transcriptional activation by p53. It has beensuggested that the microsatellite polymorphism may be associatedwith differential susceptibility to cancer. At least two transcriptvariants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Antigen:This PIG3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 174-203 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PIG3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
