Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the POU protein familycharacterized by the presence of a bipartite DNA binding domain, consisting of a POU-specific domain and a homeodomain, separated bya variable polylinker. The DNA binding domain may bind to DNA asmonomers or as homo- and/or heterodimers, in a sequence-specificmanner. The POU family members are transcriptional regulators, manyof which are known to control cell type-specific differentiationpathways. This gene is a tumor suppressor involved in Wilms tumor(WT) predisposition. Alternatively spliced transcript variantsencoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.

Antigen:This POU6F2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 34-61 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human POU6F2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
