Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the LARprotein-tyrosine phosphatase-interacting protein (liprin) family.Liprins interact with members of LAR family of transmembraneprotein tyrosine phosphatases, which are known to be important foraxon guidance and mammary gland development. It has been proposedthat liprins are multivalent proteins that form complex structuresand act as scaffolds for the recruitment and anchoring of LARfamily of tyrosine phosphatases. This protein was found to interactwith S100A4, a calcium-binding protein related to tumorinvasiveness and metastasis. In vitro experiment demonstrated thatthe interaction inhibited the phosphorylation of this protein byprotein kinase C and protein kinase CK2. Alternatively splicedtranscript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
Antigen:This PPFIBP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 588-617 amino acids from the Central region of human PPFIBP1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
