Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a constant regulatory subunit of proteinphosphatase 2. Protein phosphatase 2 is one of the four majorSer/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative controlof cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromericcore enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and aconstant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety ofregulatory subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A serves as ascaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalyticsubunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. This gene encodes analpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A. Alternativelyspliced transcript variants have been described. [provided byRefSeq].

Antigen:This PPP2R1A antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 454-481 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PPP2R1A.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
