Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is an antioxidant enzymeand belongs to the peroxiredoxin family. The protein is localizedto the cytoplasm. Peroxidases of the peroxiredoxin family reducehydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides to water and alcoholwith the use of reducing equivalents derived from thiol-containingdonor molecules. This protein has been found to play a regulatoryrole in the activation of the transcription factor NF-kappaB.
Antigen:This PRDX4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 82-110 amino acids from the Central region of human PRDX4.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
