Gene Infomation:The DNA-associated protein encoded by this gene is amember of the paired family of homeobox proteins localized to thenucleus. The protein functions as a transcription co-activator,enhancing the DNA-binding activity of serum response factor, aprotein required for the induction of genes by growth anddifferentiation factors. The protein regulates muscle creatinekinase, indicating a role in the establishment of diversemesodermal muscle types. Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
