Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a glycogenphosphorylase found predominantly in the brain. The encoded proteinforms homodimers which can associate into homotetramers, theenzymatically active form of glycogen phosphorylase. The activityof this enzyme is positively regulated by AMP and negativelyregulated by ATP, ADP, and glucose-6-phosphate. This enzymecatalyzes the rate-determining step in glycogen degradation.
Antigen:This PYGB antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human PYGB.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
