Gene Infomation:The Hox proteins play a role in development and cellular differentiation by regulating downstream target genes. Specifically, the Hox proteins direct DNA-protein and protein-protein interactions that assist in determining the morphologic features associated with the anterior-posterior body axis. Themammalian Hox gene complex consists of 39 genes that are located on four linkage groups, which are dispersed over four chromosomes. Hox genes that occupy the same relative position along the 5 to 3 coordinate (trans-paralogous genes) are more similar in sequence and expression pattern than adjacent Hox genes on the same chromosome. In mice, the HoxB cluster contains HoxB1 to HoxB9 and HoxB13, which are transcribed in the same direction. HoxB9 associates with the transcriptional cofactors BTG1 and BTG2, which enhance HoxB9 ranscription. Alterations in HoxB9 expression, as with other Hox family member, has been implicated in leukemia.

Storage:Store at +4°C short term. Store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.

Buffer condition:Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline , pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Background:The epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase that belongs to the HER/ErbB protein family. Ligand binding results in receptor dimerization, autophosphorylation, activation of downstream signaling, internalization, and lysosomal degradation. Phospho-EGF Receptor (Tyr1086) Antibody is directed against a previously unpublished EGF receptor phosphorylation site at Tyr1086, Phosphorlation of EGF receptor at Tyr1086 was observed in select carcinoma cell lines and in tumors.

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
