Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Members of the RAS (see HRAS; MIM 190020) subfamily ofGTPases function in signal transduction as GTP/GDP-regulatedswitches that cycle between inactive GDP- and active GTP-boundstates. Guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs), such asRAPGEF5, serve as RAS activators by promoting acquisition of GTP tomaintain the active GTP-bound state and are the key link betweencell surface receptors and RAS activation (Rebhun et al., 2000[PubMed 10934204]).

Antigen:This RAPGEF5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 529-555 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RAPGEF5.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
