Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is member of the GAP1family of GTPase-activating proteins. These proteins stimulate theGTPase activity of normal RAS p21 but not its oncogeniccounterpart. Acting as a suppressor of RAS function, the proteinenhances the weak intrinsic GTPase activity of RAS proteinsresulting in the inactive GDP-bound form of RAS, thereby allowingcontrol of cellular proliferation and differentiation. Thisparticular family member contains domains which are characteristicof the GAP1 subfamily of RasGAP proteins but, in contrast to theother GAP1 family members, this protein is strongly and selectivelyexpressed in endocrine tissues. Alternatively spliced transcriptvariants that encode different isoforms have been described
Antigen:This RASAL1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 309-337 amino acids from the Central region of human RASAL1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
