Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a ubiquitouslyexpressed nuclear protein. It is found among several proteins thatbind directly to retinoblastoma protein, which regulates cellproliferation. This protein complexes with transcriptionalco-repressor CTBP. It is also associated with BRCA1 and is thoughtto modulate the functions of BRCA1 in transcriptional regulation,DNA repair, and/or cell cycle checkpoint control. It is suggestedthat this gene may itself be a tumor suppressor acting in the samepathway as BRCA1. Three transcript variants encoding two differentisoforms have been found for this gene. More transcript variantsexist, but their full-length natures have not been determined.
Antigen:This RBBP8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 763-792 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RBBP8.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
