Gene Infomation:Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family members areregulatory molecules that act as GTPase activating proteins (GAPs)for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. RGS proteins areable to deactivate G protein subunits of the Gi alpha, Go alpha andGq alpha subtypes. They drive G proteins into their inactiveGDP-bound forms. Regulator of G protein signaling 2 belongs to thisfamily. The protein acts as a mediator of myeloid differentiationand may play a role in leukemogenesis.

Antigen:This RGS2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 4-32 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human RGS2.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
