Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene contains a RINF finger, amotif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNAinteractions. This protein interacts with DNAJA3/hTid-1, which is aDnaJ protein reported to function as a modulator of apoptosis.Overexpression of this gene in Hela cells was shown to confer theresistance to TNF-alpha induced apoptosis, suggesting ananti-apoptotic function of this protein. This protein can becleaved by caspase-3 during the induction of apoptosis.Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinctisoforms have been reported.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed.
