Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a protein with a series of six RCC1-likedomains (RLDs), characteristic of the highly conserved guaninenucleotide exchange factors. The encoded protein is found in theGolgi body and interacts with RPGRIP1. This protein localizes tothe outer segment of rod photoreceptors and is essential for theirviability. Mutations in this gene have been associated withX-linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP). Multiple alternativelyspliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms of thisgene have been reported, but the full-length natures of only somehave been determined.

Antigen:This RPGR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 744-772 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RPGR.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
