Gene Infomation:Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis,consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Togetherthese subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomalprotein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongsto the L15P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in thecytoplasm. Variable expression of this gene in colorectal cancerscompared to adjacent normal tissues has been observed, although nocorrelation between the level of expression and the severity of thedisease has been found. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomalproteins, multiple processed pseudogenes derived from this gene aredispersed through the genome.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
