Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The Sec61 complex is the central component of the proteintranslocation apparatus of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane. The protein encoded by this gene and SEC63 protein are found to beassociated with ribosome-free SEC61 complex. It is speculated thatSec61-Sec62-Sec63 may perform post-translational proteintranslocation into the ER. The Sec61-Sec62-Sec63 complex might alsoperform the backward transport of ER proteins that are subject tothe ubiquitin-proteasome-dependent degradation pathway. The encodedprotein is an integral membrane protein located in the rough ER.

Antigen:This SEC62 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human SEC62.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
