Background:

Molar Function:TDE1, tumor differentially expressed protein 1, is a multi-pass membrane protein also known as serine incorporator 3. Also found on the membranes of the Golgi apparatus within cells, TDE1 is highly expressed in neuronal populations but is also found in thymus, kidney, liver and testis. Expression levels of TDE1 in tumors can be as much as tenfold the amount found in normal tissue of the same type. This increased expression implicates TDE1 as being involved in the cellular transformation from normal to malignant tissue.

Western Blot: 

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
