Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma proteaseinhibitor and a member of the serpin superfamily. This proteininhibits thrombin as well as other activated serine proteases ofthe coagulation system, and it regulates the blood coagulationcascade. The protein includes two functional domains: the heparinbinding-domain at the N-terminus of the mature protein, and thereactive site domain at the C-terminus. The inhibitory activity isenhanced by the presence of heparin. More than 120 mutations havebeen identified for this gene, many of which are known to causeantithrombin-III deficiency.
Antigen:This SERPINC1 antibody is generated from mice immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 50-79 amino acids from human SERPINC1.

Buffer condition:Mouse monoclonal antibody supplied in crude ascites with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
